Maiden Newsletter — Theseabilities Foundation Advances Disability Inclusion Through Innovation, Education, and Employment

Theseabilities Foundation is strengthening its commitment to a more inclusive Nigeria by promoting accessibility, innovation, education, and economic opportunities for persons with disabilities.

In its maiden newsletter, the Foundation highlighted key milestones, including supporting assistive technology innovators through a 16-week hybrid learning programme, joining the University of Lagos Eco-Innovation Consortium, and celebrating disability rights advocates through its Beyond Disability campaign.

The Foundation also spotlighted inclusive employment opportunities at KFC Nigeria, community welfare support through a monthly ₦25,000 stipend for beneficiaries, and innovative approaches to accessible education. Additionally, it highlighted free digital skills training opportunities through NITDA and practical steps employers can take to make recruitment more accessible.

Through these initiatives, Theseabilities Foundation continues to champion a society where persons with disabilities are valued, empowered, and given equal opportunities to thrive.

The call to action is clear: promote inclusion, remove barriers, and employ persons with disabilities.
